Remove Pet Hair From Carpet With Rubber Thongs

We’ve previously noted that rubber gloves are great for pet hair cleanup, but if you haven’t got a pair or want something a bit tougher, The Guardian points out that a pair of rubber thongs will do just fine. Instead of your feet, you just need to put them on your hands:

Slip a rubber flip-flop on to your hand and rub carpets and rugs in the direction of the pile. Any pet hair will form into balls that can then be vacuumed up. This works well on upholstery, too, including car seats.

It makes life a little easier, and if any hair sticks to the thongs you can easily wash it off with water.
