DIYer Taylor put together a small circuit inside his computer that monitors his computer’s temperatures, and lights up an LED inside his case when it starts getting too hot.
While you could always monitor your temperatures using software on your computer, it’s a little less than ideal for game players, who would have to look at it as an on-screen overlay. Taylor’s solution might be a bit more work, but prodvides a very cool, more versatile result — now he can monitor his temperatures no matter what’s on the screen, or even when he’s not sitting right in front of his machine.
