Google Docs Updates Presentations With Over 50 New Features

Google Docs has rolled out a new version of its presentations tool with over 50 new features, including, simultaneous editing, a series of new slide animations, themes, tables and more.

The simultaneous editing feature allows multiple users to edit presentations at the same time with each user’s marks appearing in a different colour. The update also allows better integration with drawings, flowcharts and tables while also adding a few aesthetic effects like better transitions and animations.

The new features are rolling out gradually, but you can enable a few of them right now by hitting up the Document setting button in Google Docs and checking the “Create new presentations using the latest version of the presentation editor” under the editing tab. They do warn that many of the new features are built for modern browsers, so make sure you’re updated to see the new features.
