TooManyTabs Frees Up Memory In Chrome Without Losing Your Tabs

Chrome: If you find yourself opening way too many tabs in Chrome and sucking up memory, TooManyTabs can suspend a few of them for awhile to make it run a little smoother, while keeping quick access to those tabs for later.

TooManyTabs has been around for Firefox for years, but if you’re a Chrome user, there’s also a Chrome version available — and it’s a pretty good way to free up some of that memory that your tabs eat away. TooManyTabs gives you a simple dropdown menu from which you can see all the tabs you have open, and suspend them with the click of a button. By suspending tabs you want to keep open but don’t need right this second, you can free up all that memory and still access them with one click later on.

TooManyTabs is a free download for Google Chrome.
