What’s wrong with the auto placement on the desktop of most OS’s!

Rather than wallpaper, I’ve found Fences to be great for organising my desktop.
While my home desktop is minimalist (other than variety of Rainmeter displays) and doesn’t need it, I use Fences on my work PC to organise workflow with areas for immediate action, long-term to do, current vs recent jobs, short term dump, file/directory shortcuts etc
