History Disable Button Is A Firefox Add-On Easy, Secure Browsing

Firefox: If you need to do some light discretionary web searches in Firefox, but don’t want to lose all your tabs by rebooting into Private Browsing Mode, the History Disable Button add-on is an easy fix.

You won’t get the full Private Browsing experience, but it will block history, autocomplete and searches. It won’t, however, delete everything from the browser cache. In other words, it will remove any traces of what you’re up to, but only on the most obvious level.
