iPhone/Android/Ovi: Group video chats, like the kind you can do with Google+ Hangouts, are becoming a new way to connect with friends or even strangers. Now you can do it on the go from your smartphone with free video app Fring.
Fring’s new Playground feature lets you start your own video chat room or join an existing one to connect with up to three other users — whether random people in interestingly named Playground (“Voldemort’s Death Eater”) — or people whose faces you’ve actually seen before.
