Export Or Transfer Your Delicious Bookmarks To The New Delicious Or Lose ‘Em Forever

Social bookmarking site Delicious has been bought by the guys who made YouTube (Chad Hurley and Steve Chen), and their intention for the site is to remain a bookmarking tool.

It’s actually pretty good news for the site that Yahoo bought and then let flounder, but as part of the transition, you’re required to visit this page on Delicious to transfer your bookmarks to the new Delicious. Whether or not you’re regularly using Delicious, you probably still want an archive of all the bookmarks you’ve trusted it with over the years.>

Be sure to make the transfer by September 23, 2011. If you miss the transfer deadline, your Delicious account as you know it will be gone for good.
