Tumblr For Android 2.0 Manages Multiple Blogs, Sports New UI

Android: The Tumblr Android app just got a major overhaul, complete with a new UI, the ability to quickly create and save posts, add video and photos to your blog, follow new Tumblr blogs, and manage your account from your device. iOS users got this update back in July, and now Android users are feeling the love.

The updated Android app lets you quickly see messages to your Tumblr account, find new Tumblr blogs to follow and read, post to your own blog quickly from your phone, and embed images and video you’ve taken with your Android phone into those posts. You also get a home screen widget that makes it easy to post without opening the app.

Like the iOS overhaul, Tumblr for Android 2.0 now lets you sign up for a Tumblr account right from the app, and if you don’t have a Tumblr blog, we still think it’s a great way to share on the Web with a growing community. Tumblr for Android 2.0 is free in the Android Market.
