The Transformers Home Screen

Reader D4rKlar took the name of his Eee-Pad Transformer Tab literally and themed it like the old school, giant robots we all know and love, with info widgets everywhere to keep him up to date on the state of his tablet.

We’ll leave it to D4rKlar to tell us his setup:

It’s mainly a combination of LauncherPro Plus and Folder Organizer, using Desktop VisualizeR to show the icons.

All custom icons, based on ideas by bisto123 and KeeperXV at XDA Developers.

The D4rK folder opens gallery, white launcher icons are Firefox, LauncherPRO App Drawer and the PowerAMP music player.

The Music widget is Phantom.

The large central clock is ClockQ with the standard Honeycomb skin.

CPU, RAM and Wi-Fi widgets are Elixir by Tamas Barta, and the battery widget is Dual Battery Widget by Artiom Chilaru, showing both the Tab and Dock battery levels.

The original Megatron image is from UdonCrew.

To show a different image on each desktop I use MultiPicture. Must admit I’m not overly impressed with the live wallpaper transitions (‘Wipe’ is definitely the best in my opinion), but the 3.1 update definitely smoothed things out to the point of being useable.

You can put your own images on the Moboplayer cover flow by changing the .ppng images in .mobo/thumbs to .png (to see which one’s which), overwriting them with ones of your choice and then changing them back to .ppng- *SCREENSHOT HERE*
