The Natural Blue Studio

Today’s featured workspace belongs to Tasha McKelvey, who has created a beautiful blue art studio filled with natural wood. Along with all the natural light, it makes for a very welcoming, cheery environment.

We’ve definitely appreciated natural light and wood in the past, but that’s because they’re an easy way to really brighten up your workspace — both literally and figuratively. But Tasha’s studio also demonstrates how simple, unframed photos can be a compelling decoration (one of our apartment-friendly customisation tips). She also adds to the aesthetic with some excellent organisation. When you have a lot of stuff, it doesn’t mean it has to clutter up the place and make your space look bad. Well-designed organisation can look great and happens to provide an important function as well.
