Springpad Updates With Suggestions Based On Facebook Friends

Web/Chrome/Android/iOS: Springpad is a free service that allows you to save places, notes, items and more to your account for future reference. The service just got a lot more social with today’s update: now you can connect Springpad to your Facebook account to automatically show you items that your friends like, places they visit and more, in case you want to save them to your account.

Springpad’s new update takes away the need for you to think when reading a friend’s Facebook Places check-in that you should save the place to your Springpad account for later. The app automatically does it for you, and while it doesn’t save it to your clippings, you can bring it up easily by clicking the new “Friends Stuff” view and browsing through the locations, products, music and movies your Facebook friends have been talking about.

The new social features are available now, and Springpad itself is free and available as a Chrome extension, Android app, iOS app or web app.
