Skip Forward And Back In iTunes With A Keyboard Shortcut

Mac: If you watch or listen to music or podcasts in iTunes during the day, here’s a quick keyboard shortcut that can help you skip forward over an ad or backward to catch something you missed.As long as you have some media playing in iTunes, press Cmd+Option+Left Arrow to skip backwards five seconds, or Cmd+Option+Right Arrow to skip forward five seconds. Hold the keys down and you’ll keep skipping backwards or forwards with momentary pauses so you can keep up. Bonus: the shortcut also works in VLC.
