Path.to Helps You Create A Professional Profile And Get Noticed

Path.to is a web app that helps you create a professional profile (think online resume) in just a few minutes by importing your information from Facebook and LinkedIn. It also helps you get noticed by rewarding endorsements and activity on its leaderboard.

Getting started with Path.to is pretty simple. You just sign in with your Facebook account and it imports the data it needs into your profile. (In my case, it made a few errors with dates but did a pretty good job overall.) From there you just upload a photo, add any other relevant information (or import it from LinkedIn), connect social media accounts you want to display, and customise your profile to look the way you want. Path.to provides several themes, but you can also upload your own header image, adjust fonts, and change colours to make it look the way you want.

Once you’re set up, you can monitor who’s viewing your profile, endorsing you, etc., with personal analytics. If you can manage a lot of activity, you’ll end up high on the leaderboard, which is potentially good exposure when you’re looking for a job. Overall, if you need an attractive online resume you can throw together quickly and send out, Path.to is a good choice. Whether or not the leaderboard will help you gain much exposure remains to be seen, but it can’t hurt.
