We've mentioned how useful a bowl of rice can be to save a waterlogged gadget, but if you're camping or planning a trip, the Bheestie Bag is a tiny, plastic pouch filled with desiccant pellets that can be stashed in a suitcase.The Bheestie Bag will set you back $US20, but it could pay for itself if it manages to resurrect a wet mobile phone. The company behind the bag says that in the case of a water emergency you should drop your wet gadget into the desiccant-filled pouches and leave it for 24-72 hours. They make no promises but are confident it works.
