The Musician’s Red Room

Today’s featured workspace is both dramatic and simple. The computer hides behind a bright red wall, on which two 23-inch monitors and a handmade desk hang. Beside the desk is a keyboard, for quickly acting on musical inspiration.

Lifehacker reader Bodey Marcoccia built the wall-mounted desk from pieces of walnut and maple and hid the computer in the closet behind the wall. Besides the well-placed monitors and webcam, his music station also contains a FireBox audio interface and USB keyboard. All in all, an energetic place to work or play, it seems.
