  • “PHP and web development skills”? That’s extremely vague.

    Sounds like you’re looking for a back-end developer, a front-end developer, a project manager and a server admin all in one. Good luck!

    • The linked-to job page says: “a brilliant tech all-rounder”, so I’d say you’re correct.

      Oh, and I don’t think it’s too hard to find an all-rounder. I’m an all-rounder for my company (infact, I’m the only tech savvy guy), and know of a bunch of others in exactly the same position (all with jobs, sorry Allure!)

  • I didn’t mean that it’s hard to find one – it’s just next to impossible to find a GOOD one. The nature of a jack of all trades is such that they are very rarely a specialist at anything. If you need one person to do 4 jobs at an average level, it’s not that hard to find someone. If you want a high level of output, you need to build a team.
