iWork Apps Now Available As Universal iOS Apps

iOS: Apple’s presentation, word processing and spreadsheet apps — Keynote, Pages and Numbers — previously available for Mac and iPad, can now be downloaded to your iPhone and/or iPod touch. And if you already own iWork for iPad, it’s a free upgrade to the new universal app.

The free upgrade for existing iWork for iPad users is definitely a plus for owners of multiple iOS devices. For new iWork users, each app is separately $12.99, and Keynote Remote (an app to turn your iPhone/iPod touch into a presentation remote control) is $1.19.

Apple’s productivity suite has also been updated with thumbnail images and folder organisation for improved document management. The Tools button in the toolbar lets you share your presentations, documents and spreadsheets more easily.

Download Keynote, Pages and Numbers for your Retina display device from the App Store.
