Windows only: If you like to keep your wallpaper changing all the time, Windows’ Aero Glass might look a little weird if its colour doesn’t match your wallpapers. AeroWallpaperChanger is a simple app that cycles through your wallpapers and changes Aero’s colour scheme to match.

We’ve featured a number of different wallpaper rotators for Windows, but AeroWallpaperChanger adds a nice feature that keeps you desktop look coherent: it changes Aero Glass’ colours to match whatever wallpaper is on your screen at the time.

Just install the program, start it up, and pick your wallpapers you want to cycle through. Then, on the “Other Settings” tab, make sure to check the “Change Aero Color” box. It’s a small tweak, but a pretty cool one if you’re into tweaking the interface of your system.

AeroWallpaperChanger is a free download for Windows only.

  • OK, Firstly,.. you have to be pretty anal to be precious about whether aero matches the colour of your desktop piccy… I have dozens of images that I cycle every hour for nothin using the inbuilt W7 desktop background changer slide show! Secondly the link is Russian,… Not only can’t I read it! But I have always had issues about using Russian shareware/Freeware or any Russian programs… Sorry but they just don’t instil trust in me…
