Most furniture usually comes with a tiny hex wrench (more usually an allen key around these parts) as to help you put it together, but they aren’t exactly easy to use. For just a few bucks, you can turn that into a real, ratcheting wrench that makes futrniture assembly a breeze.
If you’ve ever used one of those tiny hex wrenches, you know how annoying they are. Either you don’t have room to turn it all the way around, or you have to try and twist it with your hand, and it just seems to take forever. It isn’t the only solution to the pain of small hex wrenches, of course. You can usually buy drill bits that fit the hex wrenches, but if you don’t have a big drill around, this is the easiest (and by far the cheapest) solution to the problem.
