Neat Bookmarks Gives You One Click Access To Your Chrome Bookmarks

Chrome: If you don’t want to spend valuable screen real estate with the bookmarks toolbar but you do want quick access to them, Neat Bookmarks can help. Once installed, you get a single button on your Chrome toolbar that lets you see them all, organised by folder.

Once of the nice things about Firefox 4’s interface is the addition of a bookmarks button that you can click to see all of your saved bookmarks, and all of the bookmarks favourites that you’ve organised. With Neat Bookmarks, you get the same functionality in Chrome.

In addition to one-click bookmarks browsing, you can also search bookmarks straight from the Omnibox by typing “* ” (asterisk-space) to just search your bookmarks folders instead of the Web.

The extension’s options also allow you to open selected bookmarks in new tabs or background tabs depending on the mouse button you use, and toggle keyboard shortcuts to let you quickly open your bookmarks and pick the one you want.

If you’re a Mac user, you already have a bookmarks menu, but Windows users don’t have that luxury. You can always enable the bookmarks toolbar to get the same effect, but that takes up space. Neat Bookmarks does what its name implies: gives you a way to quickly – and neatly – get to your bookmarks.
