Make Cheap, Homemade Soft Soap To Clean Delicate Surfaces

By grating up bar soap and mixing it with sodium borate, baking soda and water, you can create some seriously strong soft soap that can clean just about anything.

Soft soap is a great way to clean “delicate” surfaces, like glasstop counters, or even the dashboard of a car, without causing any damage in the long run. Making the stuff at home this way, which is as simple as heating the mixture on the stove and allowing it to cool, is a great way to make sure you’ve always got a supply on hand (it makes a lot, too).

Best of all, the individual ingredients are all dirt cheap, so you can save some serious money using it. Hell, this stuff even cleans carpet. You can hit up the link below for instructions, and even alternate steps to turn it into laundry detergent instead.
