If you’ve got some old china lying around, you can use it to create your own custom cake stand with nothing but a teacup and super glue.Since you’ll be bonding ceramics and glass most of the time, you’ll want to look to for glue that applies to glass, ceramic and porcelaine. It’s also a good idea to double check with somebody that the piece of china you’re thinking of supergluing to a teacup isn’t a particularly valuable one.
It doesn’t end at cake stands, either. Party trays, chip and dip platters, and dessert trays are all just as easy to put together with the right glue and the right dishes.
