DIY Blueprint Desktop

Lifeheacker reader Charley had long harboured a desire to have a desktop which used a blueprint-style design featuring his business logo. Here’s how he went about it.

As Charley explains:

I’ve wanted to create a “Blueprint” desktop for ages, so I eventually made this a weekend project. I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it until I found a video tutorial on it via YouTube –props to Aussie114 for the tute. It took me all of 10 minutes to implement once I got going. Then I added desktop widgets via Samurize for CPU usage, performance, temperature and the like. It’s simple , functional & informative..

Thanks Charley!
