Bizz Buzz Is A Group Deals Site Aimed At Small Business

No-one seems to have been scared off launching group deals sites just yet, but in the competitive local marketplace, having a point of difference seems vital. Earlier this month we saw a group deals site concentrating on tickets; now we’ve got a site promoting deals for small businesses.

While the deals on offer might differ, the rest of the Bizz Buzz model is from much the same playbook: there’s a daily discounted deal on offer, promoted via email and the usual social networking channels. The introductory offer is a free coupon for receipt-tracking service Shoeboxed, which we featured at Lifehacker quite some time back; I’m told the next deal will be a cheap business card printing offer.

Given that most mainstream group deal sites appear to be remaining focused on cupcakes and spa deals, this could be a useful niche. If you give a Bizz Buzz deal a try, tell us about it in the comments.
