Tucked In A Corner: A Bookshelf Office

Today’s featured workspace comes from the 2011 Apartment Therapy Small/Cool contest, which features great designs in small spaces. It belongs to Cate and is part of a Sears Kit Home, which includes a corner bookshelf — an interesting location for an office.

The wall storage provides plenty of room for just about anything and Cate has used the walls to hang IKEA planters for pens. It seems this idea has become increasingly popular this year as it’s hard to find an office without these repurposed planters. This workspace just goes to show that you can fit an awful lot of stuff into a small space without it necessarily getting in your way or looking bad. In fact, all that neatly organised stuff looks pretty good.
