Jukefox Is A Smart, Genre-Based Music Shuffler For Android

Android: If you like the intelligence of something like Pandora, but want it to use music you already know and have, free app Jukefox is like the iTunes Genius of Android, shuffling tracks together by genre.

Jukefox takes the music already on your device, organises it by which tracks are similar to each other, and shuffles only similar music together. That way, you still hear music you know and like, but without the inherent downsides of shuffling your entire music library (Hearing Lady GaGa come on right after an eight minute Zeppelin jam can be pretty shocking). You can even plug in an artist name and have it play music similar to that specific artist—even if you don’t have them on your device. Check out the video above to see it in action.

Jukefox is a free download for all Android devices.
