Springpad For Android Update Adds Integration, Widgets

Android: Springpad, the cross-platform, life-organising notes app, has just updated its Android offering. The new version includes a more universal capture system, customisable widgets, and more ways to sort, view and navigate your notes.Springpad’s goal is to be your one way to capture the things you run into every day — restaurants you want to visit, movies you want to see, and so on. Now, you can add items to Springpad from other applications you might use, like Yelp, making it easier for you to send things to Springpad no matter what you’re doing.

The update also includes an update to the widget system, adding a full-screen list widget (that lists the contents of one of your categories), as well as making the other widgets more customisable. Now, you can choose which buttons show up along the widget, which is great for those of us that, say, don’t take photo notes that often and would like our media button to take us straight to the audio recorder (instead of prompting us). They’ve also added quite a few user-requested features, including more ways to sort, navigate, and organise your lists within the app itself. Hit the link to check it out.

Springpad is a free download for Android devices.
