Read ‘The Daily’ Free On The Web

Heard the hype about The Daily, Rupert Murdoch’s big iPad-only, newspaper-style app? Of course you have, because it’s inescapable. Want to see some actual content? You can, for now, see most of it free, online, through Andy Baio’s The Daily: Indexed.

The Daily puts out a lot, if not all, of its content on a free web site, but it’s not organised, linked, or otherwise contained for any kind of browsing experience. Baio, of Waxy.org, crawls The Daily’s web offerings each morning and creates a free index. Now you can see if the content in The Daily is worth the $US13 million put into the project so far, expand your horizons, and see if having an iPad subscription would be worth it.
