Make A Batman-Style Hidden Light Switch

If you’ve always dreamt about a bust-hidden switch like the one Bruce Wayne would use to access the Bat cave in the Batman TV series, DIY blog The New Hobbyist details how to do just that.

You begin by cutting a head off of a bust (whoever you can find, according to your tastes) and hollowing some space out to place a switch. Install your switch and relay in the bust, making sure to leave space for the head to reattach and hide the switch. Finish up by adding a remote transmitter and a hinge on the head, and you are done!

Check out more detailed photos and instructions on how to build this project at the link below. The end result is a beautifully hidden switch that you can use to power a light switch, or maybe even a motor to open a secret door behind a bookcase. Bonus points for hooking it up to an Arduino and doing something really cool with it.
