The Chocolate-Dipped Beer Marshmallows recipe posted on the kitchn draws its inspiration from the beer and pretzel marshmallows you can buy from Chicago chocolatier Truffle Truffle. Now you can make them in your own home, using about 2 dozen marshmallows, flat dark beer, milk chocolate, stick pretzels, and a few other common ingredients.
Apparently the recipe does really flavor the marshmallows with beer taste, so you can use any beer of your preference, experimenting as you will. Beware the “beer syrup lava explosions” that can happen.
