Recycle Jars And A Bucket Into A Workshop Organiser

Frequent DIY projects around your home often yield frequent messes. Cut down on the stray parts, fasteners, and other pieces left behind or improperly put away by making a simple workshop caddy out of food jars and a 5 gallon bucket.

Instructables user Brodie Mac wanted a simple way to transport containers of fasteners and other small objects without making a mess, leaving them behind, or dealing with the hassle of cleanup. His solution combines two great DIYer resources: plastic food jars repurposed as part holders and the ubiquitous 5 gallon bucket.

In his workshop the small parts are kept mounted in jars. When it’s time for a project where their services are needed he pops them off the affixed lid, slaps a spare lid on, and then puts them in a 5 gallon bucket. The diameter of the bucket is perfect for 5 jars with space in the middle and on top for tools. Hit up the link below for additional information.
