From the files of “I can’t believe I didn’t think of this”, Reddit user keydemographic discovers just how much space those iPhone, iPod and iPad backups can take up on your computer. If you’re running low on space and your favourite maintenance tool isn’t helping, you may find that iTunes is hogging a few gigs of your system.
Just head in to C:Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes (or ~/Library/iTunes on a Mac), delete the backup folders, and watch your hard drive free up tons of space. [via Reddit]
