This free fitness training app is geared towards women, but I don’t see any reason why a guy can’t benefit as well. After sampling the butt buster workout (see video above), I can definitely feel the burn — even if I probably was a ways off on proper form.
What’s great about Nike Training Club is that it has a ton of exercises you can learn individually, but also groups them into specific workouts. At any point in the workout, you can stop to get a video demonstration of how to do the current exercise. The app will also time each individual exercise and let you know when it’s time to move on. When you’re done, your workout earns you rewards minutes that will eventually unlock badges like “Contender” or, my favourite, “Destroyer” (although I think it should be “Fat Destroyer”). While I’m not sure these badges are a phenomenal incentive to exercise more, the app itself should be enough.
One of the hardest parts about getting in shape is knowing all the right exercises. Nike Training Club teaches you how to target specific areas of your body, helps you do the exercises, and keeps you focused on track. You can’t ask for much more than that. But if you were to ask for more, you’d probably want it to be free. And it is.
