Dolphin Mini Is A Feature Filled Android Browser Alternative

Android: If the standard Android browser just isn't cutting it, the new Dolphin Mini browser comes with tons of useful features like tabs and gestures without sacrificing performance.

Users looking for an alternative to the default Android browser have probably already checked out previously mentioned Dolphin HD, which can unfortunately can be a little high-weight for some phones, and it doesn't work on devices running Android 1.6. Dolphin Mini is a lightweight version of the Dolphin browser that still contains some of its best features, like gestures, multitouch, bookmark sync, and tabs. It's also got a nice speed dial-like homepage and RSS recognition. Most impressive is its speed, though, especially for something still pretty feature-filled. If you've got a phone that could use every speed boost you can give it, you'll probably be pretty happy with Dolphin Mini over the alternatives.

Dolphin Mini is a free download for Android devices. For a more detailed char between it and its HD cousin, check out the chart at the link below.

So what Dolphin features does Mini not have?

Personally I tried Dophin on my Desire HD and found myself not enjoying the experience, it's felt sluggish and troublesome, gestures felt like a gimmick and was almost counter intuitive (at least for me, I'm not a big fan of gestures anyway so take it with a grain of salt.
Skyfire was my next step and I really enjoy some of the quick menu features like Facebook, tabs and brower viewing. It's all right there.
