Remote controls, video game controllers and other such electronics are necessary in the living room but can clutter it up quickly. Here's how to add a remote drawer to your coffee table for just a few bucks.
Unfortunately, many folks don't have any nearby tables with drawers in their living room, so there isn't a suitable place to store remote controls and other peripherals. This IKEA hack (which, as always, will work with similar pieces bought elsewhere) adds a small drawer to the underside of a coffee table so you can keep those electronics out of sight. All you need is a plastic storage box and a few small rails on which it can rest. This particular hack was even nail-free and screw-free — all they did was stick some double-sided tape on the plastic rails to keep it connected. Simple, yet another pretty creative way to store your stuff. Hit the link for more photos.
