iOS: Syncing contacts to your iOS device can get annoying if you store your contacts in multiple places on the web. AllSync is an app that pulls and syncs contacts from multiple sources so you always have the right data.
What Does It Do?
AllSync lets you choose contact sources, authenticate with those sources, and sync contact information from those sources with your iPhone. Currently sources are limited to Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, Netlog, Google and Plaxo, but the developers seem eager to add more if you'll suggest them.
Who's It For?
AllSync is for the person with contact information all over the place. If your contact information is scattered across the cloud, this is a great app to pull it all in. Alternatively, if you just want an untethered means of syncing contact info to your phone it'll help you out there as well.
What's the Bottom Line?
AllSync works well and has a decent number of contact sources (which should increase over time). You can sync 25 per cent of your contacts for free, but it'll run you $4 for all of them. If this sounds like something you could use in your daily life, it's free to try so there's no harm in giving it a shot.
