The developer of Adblock Plus, long the most popular Firefox extension (both officially and around these parts), has maintained for some time that he wasn't all that interested in the demands of porting his add-on to Chrome. But things have changed, according to TechCrunch, and the developer has teamed up to expand the AdThwart extension into a full-fledged Adblock Plus for Chrome (and then, likely after that, Safari and Opera ports).
