Photo booths can be fun and entertaining, and with just a little bit of Automator work on your Mac, you can put together a DIY photo booth for all your friends to enjoy.
Apart from the Mac, you’ll also need a chair and some sort of backdrop, but those aren’t the hinges of this project. What makes this work so well (and like a real photo booth) is the Automator workflow behind it. When you run the workflow, it will take three photos using OS X’s built-in Photo Booth software, combine them into a vertical strip, and print them out. After that, it will even use those pictures as the computer’s screensaver. It’s a very neat little set-up, and since Automator is so easy to use, you can tweak the workflow to your liking.
