Use Wolfram Alpha To Find What Day A Given Date Was

Another handy use case for Wolfram Alpha: enter a date such as September 8, 1980 and it will immediately tell you it was a Monday.

Surprisingly, this kind of function isn’t easily available on Google or Bing; my previous approach was to put the date into Excel. Wolfram Alpha even recognised that as an Australia I’d prefer dd-mm-yy for short dates, though you can change that option if you wish.
