The PageKeeper is a device that manages to be both a little gimmicky and terribly clever all at the same time. Attach the small clip to your book and it automatically holds your place as you read.
The PageKeeper is like the mutant sibling of a binder clip. You attach the clip to the back of the book and set the spring “bookmark” on the page you are reading. As you read, the pages slip out from under the clip; you can close the book at any point and it is automatically bookmarked.
While we appreciate the cleverness of the design, we’re confident a Lifehacker reader can come up with a DIY alternative for much less than the $US8 price tag of the official PageKeeper bookmark. For more information, visit the site below or watch the demonstration video above.
