Android: Evernote’s offering a sneak preview at the 2.0 release of their Android capture client, and few will have reason to shun the beta peek. It syncs your notes for faster access, makes navigation much easier and looks a whole lot better.
You’ll have to grab the app yourself to get an impression of how much better Evernote 2.0 feels from the standard release that’s in the Market, but the interfaces for every function have been improved. No more dumbphone-looking screens for entering new notes, for instance. There’s a more intuitive search function, and capturing new notes directly from the app or the home screen widget seems to move a bit smoother.
The full list of changes is offered at the Evernote forums, but you can feel free to tell us what you like, or find missing, in the comments. Evernote 2.0 beta is a free download for Android phones — you’ll need to enable non-Market installation in your Applications settings to grab it.
