Android Market Updates Arriving For Non-Froyo Phones

Google and carriers appear to have pushed out a some silent but quite nice update to the Android Market on phones running older versions of Android, back to 1.6, as users and blogs are reporting.

The updates provide tabbed app browsing, bulk updating of apps and automatic updating of apps you select. It's not every phone, and you won't approve the update or probably notice it happening, but a restart might reveal your updated Market.
