While lots of newsletters and mailing lists fall into the “spam” category, sometimes you want to read them but don’t want them cluttering up your inbox. Filter them out in Gmail by including these oft-used newsletter words.
This is my Gmail filter for catching newsletters and mailing lists. It gets about 99 per cent of them. I set the filter to apply a newsletter label so I can look at them when I have time.

If you don’t want emails from a particular domain to get lumped in with this crowd just set the From: filter to something like this:
Even if you want to unsubscribe from them, you could always use this to automatically filter all the newsletters you get into a label for unsubscribing at a later date, when you have more time.
