If the default Android launcher just isn't doing it for you, *Spark will replace it with colorful, customizable info streams.
*Spark isn't a modified launcher like previously mentioned LauncherPro and ADWLauncher, it's more of a full home screen replacement like previously mentioned SlideScreen. The home screen feeds you news stories, Facebook and Twitter updates and weather from one simple, scrollable menu. You can update your Facebook and Twitter status from the home screen as well, and you have room for three app shortcuts near the top (plus built-in shortcuts to the Phone and Browser apps at the bottom). You can reach your other apps from an app drawer at the bottom of the screen.
Apart from a few beta-related bugs (Using Swype only seems to work if you tap instead of swipe to input text), it's actually a really neat way to organise your home screen, if you aren't a fan of the default set-up (or if you only use one or two home screens in the first place). Check out the video above for a more detailed walkthrough.
*Spark is a free download for Android devices.
