Blogger and speaker Greg Savage is fed up with people showing up late and has this to say about it: No, you are not ‘running late’, you are rude and selfish. This editor has always (barring the occasional extenuating circumstances) tended to agree with Savage’s take, but your take may vary. [The Savage Truth]

I would like someone to do a study on the link between running late and depression. When it is depression related, turning up is better than giving up.

Lateness can result from anxiety or depression. It’s rude and selfish on the blogger’s part to claim such a statement.

Chris while that is true it can also cause anxiety. I know it does for me. I have so many dead lines and then have some idiot go get a coffee and have a chat with a mate before a meeting. Then that 30 mins of time wasted turns into an hour.
