I would like someone to do a study on the link between running late and depression. When it is depression related, turning up is better than giving up.

Lateness can result from anxiety or depression. It's rude and selfish on the blogger's part to claim such a statement.
Chris while that is true it can also cause anxiety. I know it does for me. I have so many dead lines and then have some idiot go get a coffee and have a chat with a mate before a meeting. Then that 30 mins of time wasted turns into an hour.
