Rainmaker syncs contact data from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn so you don’t have to manually update your Google contacts or even go and look up the contact information yourself.
Rainmaker helps you keep your contact information up to date by letting your contacts do it for you. Link your Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts to Rainmaker, and it’ll update your Google Contacts with any new information. You can perform this action manually for individually contacts or allow Rainmaker to handle it for you automatically.
Setup is easy. You just connect to and authorise your social networking accounts, go to the “Make It Rain” panel and start updating contacts. When Rainmaker finds new information that’s not currently a part of your Google contacts, it’ll add it for you:
If it’s not perfect, you can update it from within Rainmaker or Google. As you can see, it thinks that Mr Pash is 60 years old. It’ll be as accurate as your contacts provide, but some people you just can’t trust!
Rainmaker will work for free for 25 contacts (you get 25 “raindrops” for free, which represent one sync), plus you can get more by referring friends. It gets kind of expensive if you pick up a monthly plan, but you can always stay on the free plan and update contacts at no cost until your raindrops run out.
