If you’d like a dead simple way to shuttle a URL from your desktop to your iPad, your smartphone to your desktop, or from any browser to any other browser, KeepItWith.Me uses a one-click system to share links between devices and browsers.
We’ve highlighted URL sharing tools before like Chrome to iPhone, Chrome to Phone and GMailThis, to name a few. They all suffer from some restriction, however, such as only working with a certain browser, only working with a certain phone OS, or requiring some sort of extra step or service. KeepItWith.Me uses a simple approach that works for any device with a web browser.
Visit KeepItWith.Me and grab the pair of bookmarklets, save both the “Send with KeepItWith.Me” and “Receive with KeepItWith.Met” bookmarklets in the web browser on every device you want to share URLs with. Clicking the send bookmarklet saves the URL, clicking the receive bookmarklet loads it. It isn’t intended for heavy bookmark synchronisation but for the times you want to save exactly what you’re looking at and then open it up later to read on your commute or when you get home, it’s an extremely simple and fast solution.
Have an awesome bookmarklet or web browsing tip in general to share? Let’s hear about it in the comments. Thanks nationalzoo!
