If iTunes 10 is a little too grey and washed out for your eyes, a simple terminal command can up the contrast (maybe a little too much).
To flip the switch, quit iTunes, open Terminal, and enter the following:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes high-contrast-mode-enable -bool TRUE
If high contrast mode is a bit too contrasty for you, you can turn it off just as easily with the same command, only replacing TRUE with FALSE.
