If you're looking for a long workspace free of cord clutter, this lengthy desk sports hidden cable management tools so nary a cable will be seen dangling down to your floor.
Johnathan Crossman built a desk last year using lumber he scavenged — the legs, for example, were found under his parents porch. This year he decided to update it to adjust the height and incorporate better cable management. He used rain gutters to contain the cables — a technique we've highlighted before — and cut custom channels for the cables to snake through the back edge of the desk into the gutters. See the photo below for a closer look at the cable-concealing space at the rear of the desk.
The desk is beautiful. We'll definitely be keeping an eye out at garage sales and the markets to find some legs and table hardware to scavenge for a spacious desk of our own.
